
I had to conceptualize and design a new brand identity for a client in the street food industry. I decided to create the restaurant, Kati: The Original Indian Burrito. It’s essentially a tribute to the existing restaurant, The Kati Roll Company. The new brand’s target audience were Asian Indian consumers and Millennial-aged consumers. I created an original typeface for the logo that integrated the roundness of a kati roll. Fun Fact! The pattern featured on the backs of the business cards and on the stationary is a result of combining the “K” and “A” letterforms of the logo mark.
